Walking from the 2nd exit of Hongdae Station to the hotel takes about 10‑15 minutes; the route has Olive Young, CU, GS25, and Mega Coffee, so grabbing a snack or coffee is a breeze. Because the building sits in a residential alley, the nights are fairly quiet and the walk back is relaxing. The common area works well for late‑night meals, though you’ll need to bring your own trash back to your room. A free luggage storage service was offered during my stay, which was a big plus for those arriving early or departing late. Overall, it was a solid experience. The bathroom, however, had issues: even with a shower curtain and a wooden door, water could splash onto the floor (the door slides on a track with gaps underneath). Drainage was decent, but the uneven floor caused standing water; a shoe‑drying rack was provided, yet the holes still let water get onto the feet.

I never want to stay here again; it was the worst guesthouse in Seoul’s Hongdae. The value for money is terrible: the room’s facilities, especially the bathroom, are awful, with constant water accumulation and no sense of cleanliness. Drainage is poor, leaving wet floors that are uncomfortable. From the moment I checked in, the room was filled with a strong, unpleasant odor, and ventilation was almost nonexistent—opening the window didn’t change the air. The worst part was that on the last night, the hot water stopped. When I asked staff, they said, “Turn on the water switch,” but we had never turned it off. Their reply came only the next morning, forcing my wife and me to take cold showers, and the hot water never returned the next day. The overall service, cleanliness, equipment, and response were all unsatisfactory. For the price, the quality is far too poor. I will never use this place again and would not recommend it to anyone.

A 10‑minute walk to the subway station and a pleasant area. The room was extremely small; with two people and two suitcases, moving around was impossible. There was no elevator, and getting to the second floor with luggage was difficult. The miniature bathroom had weak lighting, and the water didn’t drain—showering left the floor knee‑deep in water. The room was perpetually dim because the window was blocked by building elements.

The location was good, close to Hongdae, with plenty of food options within walking distance. The bathroom was a mess: a tiny, dark space that looked dirty, and due to drainage problems, a puddle of unknown wastewater appeared on the floor. Even after wiping the floor dry after a shower, the puddle reappeared after a while. The standing water had already corroded the floor paint, and stepping on it left a dirty mark. Because the bathroom was small and the puddle was unpleasant, I almost slipped several times while crossing it.
