Nothing good to say – a bunch of men were loitering by the entrance with the door code, and the place smelled of smoke. When we arrived there was no front desk, my email bounced, and the phone number just said it wasn’t connected, so we felt completely scammed and left for another hotel. The only contact we got was a text at 5 a.m. the next day, and we’re still waiting on a refund.

The staff on site were friendly, but they didn’t have my reservation, so I never actually stayed there. I paid in full, got a PIN code that didn’t work, tried calling the contact who was suddenly unreachable, and after a lot of back‑and‑forth they finally showed me a tiny room that smelled strongly of perfume – a trigger for my allergies – and was already occupied by another guest’s belongings.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to like. We arrived to find no reception staff and dead phone numbers, which made checking in a nightmare, and the common areas were filthy – hair in the showers, dirty tables, sinks overflowing with food scraps, and a fridge that reeked. The toilets had no paper for the entire stay, and loud music started at 5 a.m. in the dorm corridors, so getting any rest was impossible. For the price we paid, the experience was unacceptable.

This place isn’t a backpacker hostel at all; it feels more like a rundown public housing unit and should be taken down. The entry code was wrong, a passerby opened the door for us, the safe had the right code but no keys inside, and there was no manager on site to help – all calls went unanswered. It was unsafe, filthy, and we had no choice but to find somewhere else to stay.

The accommodation wasn’t even open – there was no management, no key to check in, and the area was dirty, yet they still took our payment and never answered our calls. It felt like a scam from the start.
