Location: 1.1km from the city center. You can either walk for about 12 minutes or take a free tuk‑tuk, the return tuk‑tuk will cost $3. Staff: very welcoming staff, who know your name, are ready to help you with any request, always smile and enquire about your plans for the day. Food: breakfast is perfect with a great choice of local and European food. I highly recommend ordering a set “afternoon tea” which includes tea or coffee, delicious chicken sandwiches, a fruit plate, meat rolls, tempura shrimps and a plate of sweets. Don’t forget the hotel’s happy hour from 3 pm to 5 pm – buy 1 drink get one free. Room: a spacious room on the first floor was great! We enjoyed our pool view and a big bathroom.

The hotel was very beautiful, with meticulous and caring service, a refreshing pool, a free tuk‑tuk shuttle to the city centre that was much appreciated, and a fresh towel and a glass of cold water each time someone passed the reception. The staff were caring but sometimes over‑involved; for instance, at the table they interrupted our conversation 10 times to ask if we were fine and what our plans were for the day. It’s very kind but also intrusive.

The staff were incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly and always ready to make sure we had everything we needed; the property itself is beautiful, just 7 minutes by tuk‑tuk from Pub Street or a 20‑minute walk.

The rooms are large and nice with a big balcony, the place is really pleasant, and the staff are very friendly.
