There were no redeeming points; I was utterly disappointed with the service and the room was awful. The hotel arranged two rooms on the fourth floor (the top floor of the family block), which is not a hotel area, so it was chaotic, with clothes hanging haphazardly and a dusty storage area outside the courtyard. The room was damp, moldy, stank, infested with roaches, the pillows were dirty, the space was cramped, and the AC didn’t cool (the room was part of a residential area, not a professional hotel). After complaining and requesting a room change, the staff were rude and unprofessional. Our group decided to leave and paid about 30 p after check‑in; at that point the staff re‑assigned us to two other rooms and charged extra. Because it was a holiday, finding another hotel was hard, so we stayed; the new rooms were in the rental hotel area and a bit better, but overall the original rooms were damp, stinky, not dry or clean, with many tiny roaches, which was scary. The staff were unhelpful, unfriendly and the service was terrible and unprofessional.
