“Ein Paradies für Naturliebhaber und Ruhesuchende.”
A gem amid nature – the infinity pool overlooks a jungle‑like forest, with many animals (birds, bats, butterflies, etc.). The garden is lovely and well maintained, and the food was very good, contrary to some comments here. The market about 10 min on foot is worth a visit – very tasty street food. We didn’t use it much, just relaxed at the resort and briefly at the market, but this spot would be a great base for Ubud region excursions. Completely untouristy, yet relatively well located. Everything was wonderful! A request to the hotel, not a critique: clearer warnings about venomous snakes are needed. At night, use a flashlight and be very attentive while walking the grounds. Our kids were lucky to spot a blue krait – the most venomous snake in the region – right next to the path to the restaurant. Yes, you book this hotel because you’re in nature, so it’s fine, but not all guests are prepared for that.
