Very central and convenient for exploring Florence. The parking setup can be confusing; it’s a partnership with a public lot that costs 40 euros a day. Because it’s in a low‑emission zone, getting in with your own car is tricky. I was sleep‑deprived and the downstairs neighbors can be noisy late into the night.

The high ceilings and tasteful furnishings in this old Florentine property were beautiful. The location is in a part of town with fantastic eateries, even better than the more central spots. The fridge gets daily refills of sodas and water, plus free tea and coffee each day. The air conditioning is superb, and the bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries. During the day the staff are always ready to chat. I loved the whole stay but I’m a bit uneasy about the fourth‑floor rooms having only one exit; in a fire you’d be trapped. Some sort of night‑time supervision beyond just emergencies might be wise. I’m a bit picky, but the lift only handles one person with luggage or two without, so we had to wait a lot while it was scorching outside, making stair‑climbing uncomfortable. If they upgraded the lift, it would help less mobile guests, but it was fine for our needs overall.

The location is perfect for exploring Florence, and parking in the nearby blue spots was easy. David welcomed us and took great care of us. The hotel is quiet, and the elevator makes getting to the third floor a breeze. My room was spotless and had air conditioning. Nothing negative to mention.

The spot was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly, understanding, and helpful. The room was huge, and the view was amazing—we could see the river from our room. The air conditioners were also excellent. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like; every experience at this hotel was magnificent.
