“A Real Burgundian Treasure!”
I’ve stayed at L'Atelier twice now, and I’m hoping it won’t be my last visit. The ancient workshop and storage area turned into a cozy home, an artist’s studio, custom millinery shop, and guest rooms is simply charming. It sits right in the heart of Roanne’s old town. The hosts welcomed us warmly and paid close attention to every detail, especially the breakfast served in the cool alleyway that opens onto their garden—an oasis of shade during the scorching heat of '26. The rooms are simple but thoughtfully designed, furnished, and decorated with an artist’s eye. Thank you.
