“Room was extremely hot!”
A clean youth hostel in a convenient location. Breakfast was fairly good. Because of the hot weather, our room was extremely hot all night, so we didn’t get much sleep.

Jugendherberge Braunschweig offers garden views, a bar, lounge, child‑friendly buffet and games room, plus free private parking. Guests start with a continental breakfast of pastries, cheese and fruit, and stay in rooms with private bathrooms, showers and wardrobes. Centrally located, it lies an 8‑minute walk from Castle Dankwarderode, near Old Town, Brunswick Cathedral and Staatstheater, with kayaking and canoeing nearby.

Location, atmosphere, breakfast. Even though there were only a few guests at that time, we had a room on the street side, and that was noisy.

Very good central location, within walking distance of the university, yet quiet. Modern building. For the price, the breakfast and dinner were great (extra paid, buffet for 8.70 EUR).

I arrived at 17:00, and the receptionist kindly explained everything to me in English. In the room, bed linen is provided, which you need to make yourself and place in a box on the first floor upon departure. Two towels per person and soap are also provided. The breakfast was good: coffee, eggs, sausages, muesli, fruits, etc. 👍🏻 Location: the tram stop is right next to the hotel, and the city center can be reached within a few stops. Breakfast starts a bit late (7:30), which is not ideal for business travelers
