“Breve tappa”
We stayed in a private room with two single beds, very small, with a small dresser for backpacks and a bedside table. The location is great for visiting Dean Village and Stockbridge, both reachable within a few minutes on foot. The Edinburgh city centre is about 20 minutes on foot. The staff are very kind and helpful. The carpet emitted a dirty smell, giving a sense of poor cleanliness. The plasterboard walls provide little sound insulation: you could clearly hear people talking in the adjacent room and music from the hostel common room late into the night. The bathrooms are shared with guests from other private rooms.
