The accommodation offers simple but clean rooms at a reasonable price. It’s a quiet house and German is spoken. From Thursday onward, they serve excellent flammkuchen. We’ve been coming to Sessenheim for many years and have always been very satisfied.

The room had a nice city view. It wasn’t glamorously furnished but we liked it. The only small downside was that the bed wasn’t that wide. The bathroom had a window, was large, clean, and had a bath: ideal. The staff were all terrific. The restaurant was lively and full. I would call the food excellent, straightforward, hearty French cuisine that we thought was spot on. We loved it and had a great time. What was there not to like, although breakfast could have been a little better but who cares?
