The accommodation met my needs for a simple overnight stay with breakfast. The breakfast was great, and I especially appreciated the courteous early check‑in. The value for money was excellent.

Hammer! Ich hätte den Anwalt einschalten müssen! Na, ja!

Friendly staff, convenient location. The equipment feels from another era; the single rooms under the roof were quite dark and noisy, and the bed made terrible noises with every movement.

The beds were comfortable and the room quiet, breakfast was nice. The area smelled strongly of cannabis, and half the town feels run‑down. The hotel itself is tired and worn. The bathroom door is glass, so there’s little privacy from the main bedroom; using the bathroom light at night illuminates the bedroom. There’s no window cover on the large bathroom window, so a summer stay would have been woken by daylight early. The room’s electricity is controlled by a “card slot” attached to the key; you must use the key to lock the door, which required plunging the room into darkness. The restaurant closed that evening due to a “problem that happened that day”; they arranged a table at Jimmy’s, an Italian spot three minutes away. That was helpful (the restaurant and meal were very good), but after a long drive the last thing we wanted was to drive more. We weren’t told at check‑in that the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was a usual buffet style; it’s a pity they don’t seem to want to turn on all the lights.

The room was appropriately sized, the train station and city were a short walk away, and parking was available. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly, enough for a weekend trip. The hotel feels dated; despite the owners’ affectionate work, the signs of age can’t be hidden.
