This place is a real gem in the heart of Battaramulla. I’d go back next time I need to visit the passport office, and there was no hassle when we had to cancel a room on short notice. Thanks.

The staff were very good, but they didn’t provide a sleep mask, a toothbrush, or toothpaste during our stay.

The location is great if you want to be near the immigration and emigration department. We stayed for a visa extension and the place itself is beautiful and has everything you need. The continental breakfast was a bit below our expectations, but the second day’s Sri Lankan breakfast was much better.

The old villa has a small garden where peacocks roam. The room has a balcony with sliding doors, and it was pleasant to let Sri Lankan air in each morning. The room includes a bathroom, a comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, and armchairs with a side table. The air conditioner in the room is very noisy. We chose a room with a balcony. The furniture is old, but that can be considered local character.
