The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with small homemade dips, fruit, cheese, fresh eggs, and orange juice. The location is very central and the furnishings and décor are very thoughtful and especially nice.

Interesting design – excellent personal and telephone service and superb breakfast in a lovely setting. The announced parking was not available, and I could only find a public parking spot later…
A very nice small hotel. You feel at home immediately. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and generously portioned. I’ll definitely come back again.
“Eine unerwartete Oase”
The Farmerhaus Lodge sits in a courtyard right in the heart of Groß Umstadt and evokes memories of South Africa with its décor and equipment. There’s a shaded courtyard with seating where you can also eat breakfast. The room is lovingly and individually decorated with African accessories. The staff were helpful and friendly at the bank. The extensive breakfast offered fruit and homemade treats with an African theme, which were explained. The only drawback: the street that our room faced was very noisy late into the night. That might have been due to the heat and the total solar eclipse that kept people out that day, but I sat in my bed hearing every passing moped clatter.
The hotel’s location is optimal. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Parking in the enclosed courtyard. Too few storage spots and hooks in the bathroom.
