The house sits in a great spot, very quiet, so you don’t feel in the city at all, and the owner is nice and responsive; the garden is beautiful. However, the room we stayed in didn’t have an en‑suite bathroom; you have to exit into the hallway to reach a private bathroom, which was not mentioned in the booking and surprised us.

Marianne welcomed us warmly and treated us to a wonderful breakfast every morning; we felt very comfortable and had great conversations with her. Nothing was lacking—everything was good!

Marianne makes a fantastic breakfast; everything is superb, fresh, and tasty, and her stories are a nice bonus. If you want to feel at home, this is the right spot, though we didn’t enjoy the departure.
