Narvik Hotel Wivel, situated in Narvik's heart, offers a shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi. Guests can rent bikes and enjoy ski storage. Family rooms feature desks, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. A continental or buffet breakfast is served. Located near Narvik War Museum and Narvikfjellet Ski Resort, the hotel offers skiing, cycling, and easy access to Harstad/Narvik Airport via an on-site airport bus stop.

The homemade food was exciting, especially the pudding and cakes, and the breakfast spread was great. Located in the city center on a side street, close to the cinema and main restaurants, it was almost perfect—one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! The only downside was the limited access to hot water; maybe they should allow ordering two dishes from the kitchen instead of one without extra cost. Room‑service food from the restaurant was pricey, and there was no fridge in the room.

The hotel’s cleanliness and staff attention were excellent; everything was very good!

Breakfast was outstanding—among the best I’ve had across eight Norwegian hotels. The restaurant is tucked away but superb. The location is very central and easy to find. Parking is street‑parking, free from 6 pm to 7 am but charged afterward; you must stay alert to avoid a fine. The lack of a lift makes moving luggage tough for those with limited mobility.
