We three walked in early in the morning and the front desk guy was very helpful in checking us in right away; the environment was great and the breakfast was plentiful. The only issue was that the hot water for showers took a long time to come on—improving that would be great.

The staff were great. Really great. The room was large and I named the resident gecko Terence the Destroyer. I don't know if he lived up to his name but I trusted him to eat mosquitos and, to be fair, I was not bothered by many. In the thick of Thamel so very well situated. Why call it an 'Eco Resort'? The hotel was nice enough but quite tired. Cold water in the shower. But what was with the Eco moniker. There was nothing I could see that justified it. There was little to complain about, I was just mystified by the name

Great value, tasty food, and the staff were friendly; the UnPlan bar is fantastic. The bathroom and new private curtains are still needed in room 213, though the beds are wonderful.
