The room was lovely inside a huge house, Wi‑Fi was excellent, the place had just been refitted and was spotless, a fan was in the room, the street was quiet and attractive, on‑street parking was unrestricted (as of July 2026) with some off‑street options, and the station or bus stops were a short walk away; I’d stay again. The only issue was a tiny inconvenience that the owners could fix: the new bathroom was beautiful, spacious, with a large shower, no bathtub, and a toilet that had a view, yet there was no spot for a sponge bag or toiletries, though that’s not a reason to leave.

Emily kept in touch well and getting there from the train station was easy; the area felt safe, but the shared toilet was really dirty.

They cancelled our reservation on the day of check‑in, and I have the receipts; we were already at the airport and, if we hadn’t checked our email (we were busy travelling, which was a happy accident), we would have gone to London with no place to sleep; fortunately we found something else, but Tulse Hill gave us no explanation, no help to find another place, which is INHUMAN and HEARTLESS; if you want to avoid that situation on a vacation abroad, don’t book Tulse Hill Luxury Cosy Rooms.
