The place was filthy, loud, and dangerous; water leaked from the ceiling, the elevator was broken, the room smelled of body odor and marijuana, the bathroom water was brown, the internet was down, the bedding was disgusting and dirty, and a large biker group was loud, vulgar, and I was too scared to leave my room.

I didn't use any of those amenities, and everything else was fine.

The spot was convenient for the event I was attending, but the room wasn't cleaned properly—sheets looked dirty even though they might have been washed, and the floor was neither mopped nor swept.

The room was clean, yet it carried a cigarette odor.

The location worked well, though the hall carpet could use a replacement.
