“Netter Aufenthalt”
The place is lovingly furnished, a 15‑minute walk to Canterbury, with a small supermarket opposite; there is a fridge for guests and a coffee machine, and the breakfast offers fresh fruit and very good yoghurt. The staff are not very engaged, empty coffee cups sit in the entrance for days because no one takes responsibility, and it rarely happens that someone checks or refills the breakfast buffet. The staircase to the rooms was not swept – it was dirty – and the windowsills in the breakfast room could be wiped regularly (dust and dead flies); overall this otherwise nice B&B loses some of its charm because of these issues.
