The room was huge, tastefully decorated, and the outdoor area with terraces was lovely for relaxing; the breakfast was excellent and the location near the beautiful beach was quiet. However, the price‑to‑value ratio felt a bit steep for such a beautiful place.

The property is beautiful, truly an oasis, not far outside town yet still feels very peaceful. Free coffee, tea, snacks, and an honesty bar are provided, and I was allowed to check in very early. The owner is lovely.

The breakfast is complete and excellent, served in a porch with a spectacular view. The architecture and furnishings are very well cared for and detail‑oriented. It is extremely close (less than 1 km) to the wonderful Praia da Barreira and Praia do Amado. The garden is very nice, with a small but relaxing pool, a wooden platform for sunbathing (separate), and a beautiful structure among the reeds for yoga. The rooms are good, with a nice terrace‑veranda. The breakfast service is extremely courteous. Perhaps the bathroom could offer more privacy, and a sign directing arriving travelers to the entrance of Carrapateira would be helpful.
