The rooms were covered in black mould, making it dangerous to breathe in. The entire interior was dirty, even the pillows had mould. Moreover, the actual rooms are not where shown on the map; they are a 5 minute drive down a narrow dirt farm track, which was very difficult.

The site itself is pretty nice, but the tent is very dirty and almost impossible to stay in; if they cleaned it better it could be great. I was alone so it was fine, but if two tents are booked there’s no privacy between them. The tent is in really bad shape.

The place is super cozy and I love that the owner is a young entrepreneur who takes care of everything himself. He helped us with a taxi to our next destination, arranged a jeep tour to Monte Batur, and even set up a bonfire after dinner. Staying at night, stargazing at this spot is spectacular, especially with a 10‑degree view of Monte Batur. The only comment would be the cleanliness of the store itself, and I understand that being in the middle of the countryside makes detailed upkeep challenging.
