The vacation rental’s setting is quite special; just cross the street and you’re on the edge of the Jasmund National Park. From there you can hit various hiking trails toward Königsstuhl or catch buses that take you to Königsstuhl or the towns around Hagen where the apartment sits. The apartment comes fully equipped for comfort. I also want to highlight the host’s friendliness; he always strives to make sure guests have everything they need. There’s a wildlife inn on the premises where you can eat delicious food and buy local game products. The apartment doesn’t have a balcony, but you can sit outside behind the house in nature and soak in the peace.

The location was excellent, but the attic bedroom’s roof height made it impossible for our boys, aged 11 and 13, to stand up.

The staff were welcoming, the apartment was spacious, and the scenic setting was lovely.
