“Extremely poor management, do not recommend anymore”

I had a great first stay a couple of years ago, but things have gone downhill. I booked over a month ahead, even reconfirmed, yet when we arrived from Benin our room had been given to someone else. No one called or texted beforehand. We waited more than 30 minutes while staff ignored us and told us to just wait for someone to explain. The backup room they offered had no running water, so we were left stranded. The booking manager was rude when I called to ask what was happening, and there was no proper apology or real help; we had to find a new place ourselves. This isn’t the first booking glitch here—previous stays had issues with reservations, room availability, and payments. The staff seem to change constantly and are often poorly informed. After giving this place several chances, I won’t return and can’t recommend it.

The service quality, the sea-facing location, the tasty meals, the quiet, and the pool are all excellent. Nothing to complain about!

Overall a great stay, attentive and listening staff. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. The food was modest but tasty. The value for money was excellent—really a top experience.

1) Swimming pool and access to beach. 2) Design of the building. 1) The service was not up to expectation. Food was not delivered all at once at the table for dinner; some received food much later than others. If we would have waited for each other to eat all together, the food of the first served would have been completely cold. Also, breakfast on the first morning was very simple (just some bread and jam). 2) Bad maintenance of the house and equipment’s. There was a flooding in the middle of the night; a serious amount of water came in from the roof when it was raining. Looking at the traces on the wall, it seems like an existing issue that has not been solved (correctly). Also, one airco was not working, a shower head was not working, and the matras of one bed was old (like sleeping in a hole). In general, it felt like the place was left in a badly maintained shape (compared to about 5 years ago when we were there as well), but the price charged was still high. It’s no longer in-balance (price-quality)
