The check-in process was smooth, but I had to wait till 2:00 to get my room key. Unfortunately, the room itself was a different story. The sheets were stained with cigarette burns, the soap dish was broken, and the shower head was inoperable. To top it all off, the staff seemed to be in a rush to get me out the door by 11:00 - it was like they were trying to kick me out.
On the plus side, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the old and noisy heaters made it impossible for me to sleep, and the air they blew out was incredibly strong. To make matters worse, the website had advertised breakfast as included, but it turned out to be a non-starter. And to top it all off, the bathing supplies were woefully inadequate.
The location was a major plus, right in the heart of everything we needed. But the hotel's breakfast promise was a letdown - we were told it was just coffee and cookies, which wasn't exactly what we were expecting. To make matters worse, the blanket on our bed was a disaster, with burnholes and stains galore, so we ended up buying our own.
I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the place was. That's about all I can say, because aside from the peaceful atmosphere, there wasn't much to comment on. Maybe I just got lucky, but I didn't encounter any issues during my stay.
