Hotel & Restaurant Rupertigau, located in quiet Wals, is 5 km from Salzburg's centre and 5 minutes from Salzburg Airport. Bright rooms with bathroom and satellite TV offer mountain or Hohensalzburg Fortress views. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine on a sun terrace. A children's playground, indoor play area, and eco-friendly features like photovoltaic systems and electric vehicle charging make it a unique stay.

The welcome was simple, without fuss, and the staff smiled. The room was very spacious, the bathroom even more so, and everything was spotless. The restaurant was very good with a great selection and nice wine. Nothing went wrong; everything was fine. I’d come back.

The location is very convenient, especially with transport available—just 7‑8 minutes from Salzburg. There’s plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly and ready to help with any question. Breakfast is good. The room is large and clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. There’s also a restaurant where you can eat at any time.

The staff (owners), the room, the huge parking, and breakfast were all great. Everything was good. If we visit the area again, we’ll definitely come back. It’s very family‑friendly and everything was better than expected. Nothing negative.
