It feels like home! The welcome was excellent, the traditional house is very pretty, and the breakfast is superb.

The host’s hospitality shines through, the breakfasts are very complete, the room is very comfortable, and the location is good. There are places to eat nearby, even with vegetarian options.

The host and their family were lovely. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a plug‑in mosquito repellent available. The cooked breakfast was always fantastic, and we received plenty of sliced watermelon. We left early twice and still had cooked food ready, which was very kind. They organized a day tour to see Borobudur and Pramadan temples and arranged express laundry for us. We loved the fish served outside the rooms, and the plants and house itself are beautiful. I would stay again. The only downside was that a larger blanket for two would have been better, as we kept taking it off each other, but I didn’t request an extra one, and I’m sure they would have provided one if asked.

The hostel sits in a quiet street, which is nice, and the owners were friendly and helped with any questions I had. They had a common fridge where I could keep my drinks and food. The only downside was that the room had a slight damp smell.
