Cleanliness, a nice female cook, and parking right in front of our room’s door were positives. The price versus the motel’s offering was clearly too high. On entering the room, the smell of sweat from previous guests was noticeable, leaving a poor first impression. The second impression was the unpolished verandah floor and the musty chairs. The tiny TV, smaller than a computer monitor, was “polished” with a greasy rag. The beds were narrower but clean and neatly made. The bathroom was Spartan but had everything needed, and the toilet was also clean. In summary, I stayed overnight in the room because of its cleanliness, but next time I’ll look elsewhere in Dačice for better value.
