The place is gorgeous – the décor is spot‑on and the views are breathtaking, and the host was really attentive. Just keep in mind you’ll need a car or a taxi to get up there; the road from town is steep, winding and not walkable. The hot tub never got hot no matter how much wood we threw in, so an option to have the host prep it for a fee would have been nice.

We stayed in a roomy, comfy chalet that was perfect for our family, with lovely mountain scenery and quick, clear communication from the owner. In winter we took easy day trips to places like Crans‑Montana, the Moubra‑Park, the Bains de Saillon and the luge run at Grimentz. All in all, a hassle‑free base for exploring the area.

The location was convenient and the staff greeted us warmly, which was a nice start. Unfortunately the kitchen left a lot to be desired – the baking tray and several utensils were dirty, and there were no dishcloths or towels provided, something that should have been mentioned up front. The double bed felt narrow and we only got a single duvet for the two of us.
