The Mermaid room is simply a dream.
“Un coin de paradis”
The site is exceptional, with marine life of incredible richness. However, beside the houses there are too many plastic wastes, which is surprising for such a remarkable place, and environmental protection isn’t adequately considered.
The property has huge potential, the “marmaid” rooms are really beautiful and spacious, and the coral reef is very pretty. The services, however, are a complete disaster (disorganization, delays, etc.).
Super beautiful island and resort. Very friendly owner and staff.
“Relax in the Sea”
There are many negative reviews about this place, largely because of a Western approach to things. The resort is very beautiful, offers incredible sea‑view rooms, and has a great restaurant for lovers of Indonesian/Asian cuisine (if you expect a good carbonara pasta you’ll be disappointed, but the chef isn’t at fault—it’s the island’s context). The young team follows every need; especially Qiqi at reception, always very nice and attentive, and the resort director, very present and attentive to every requirement. Great team. The resort still has some areas not properly arranged, with ongoing work that doesn’t disturb guests because it’s far from the rooms. Nothing major if you avoid criticizing everything like a super‑demanding European. At Mega Resort you feel good, snorkeling is easy with an instructor, food is good, the rest are minor issues.
