It was very clean, reasonably priced and I thought it was great. I have no complaints; a health‑scale in the bath changing room might be nice for hikers, and I, as a mountain‑goer, would appreciate it.

If they played some background music during breakfast, the clatter of spoons and dishes from other guests wouldn’t be as noticeable – I’ve run a restaurant for 40 years.

I had forgotten to book another hotel, yet they responded quickly despite the last‑minute request, and the attached convenience store was a plus. Overall I was impressed, though the large communal bath doors are open to both sexes, which could be improved.

I liked being able to watch YouTube on the TV in the room, the bed was very comfortable for sleeping, and having a convenience store right there made things easy.
