Nothing positive. I couldn’t find the room; it isn’t a hotel, the entrance is beside a vapeshop, dirty, no curtains, impossible to sleep in a bright room, and there was a lot of noise from the busy street. There was barely water in the shower, though a kettle was present… that was it.

The location is high up and the interior quality is excellent. I didn’t always understand how to get hot water – one evening it seemed not to work, maybe I was doing something wrong. Overall the manager was always reachable and ready to help with any questions.

Positives: The lodging is in a great spot, very close to the center and the northern avenue, and the building itself looks nice. Negatives: The place costs 70 € and that price is completely unreasonable for such a room. The entrance is through a tobacco shop, which the host warns about on WhatsApp (but nothing about it on the listing). Then you go into a storage room and climb a narrow staircase to reach the room. A cashier at the tobacco shop greets you with “brother, I know nothing, write to the owner.” The room itself is VERY small and smaller than it looks in the photos. There are no beds, only two mattresses on some odd platform. The shower works poorly; you have to wait a long time for hot water, then wait another 30 minutes for it to cool down from boiling. The shower curtain is moldy and clearly needs replacing (photos attached). The toilet is wobbly and might fall. The view from the window is a stranger’s balcony and some construction. Moreover, at checkout you hand money to the same tobacco shop seller, but he won’t give you change, and the receipt, of course, because he has “different cash registers.” All in all, it’s not worth the money they charge for this lodging.

The room had everything needed, was spacious enough, and the bathroom was good. The location was top notch in the real center of Yerevan, if you don’t mind entering a shop to reach your room. Communication with the manager via WhatsApp was good. The bed had a wooden piece just above the head; if you don’t mind it, you could hit your head – it needs fixing. The shop staff were not nice or pleasant.
