The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and spotless, breakfast wishes were met, and there was a parking spot in the courtyard.

The pension Freudenthal is easy to reach, has a very close parking lot, and the lobby contains a refrigerated beverage cabinet. You can dine in the attached restaurant, served in a pleasant hall; the breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious.

The room was clean and fully equipped. Its location near the highway made it very convenient for a stopover.

Breakfast was served to order and was excellent. The pension sits at the foot of the Gleichen castle ruins, a half‑hour leisurely climb away, making it ideal for exploring the surroundings on foot or bike. The neighboring inn’s food (run by the pension’s operator) is also highly recommended. We’ll return gladly. The window facing the busy street had to stay closed at night to avoid noise, though the window insulation was good.
