The location is great, but the room size is a bit small.

Friendly receptionists, a comfortable bed, and a good shower—this hostel is a must‑visit in HCMC.

The hostel looks a bit different than what the pictures suggested; I think it’s a bit overpriced for its condition, but the staff were very friendly and overall I had a very good stay here :)

I had an extremely bad experience at this hostel. I woke up in the middle of the night because of intense itching and bites, and there appears to be a serious bed bug problem. I checked the sheets, and it seemed that the insects were not simply on the bedding but may have been coming from inside the wooden structure of the bed itself. On top of that, I saw a mouse running around inside the room. I stayed for two nights and barely managed to sleep. The room was also extremely hot because the air conditioning did not work properly. The staff experience was also terrible, and one incident at reception was especially shocking. I went to reception to ask the receptionist for something and waited patiently while she was speaking with another guest. After that guest finished, two other girls arrived after me. The receptionist then called the two girls over and started dealing with them instead. I politely told her that I had been waiting first. She ignored me and continued speaking to the girls. What made the situation even more bizarre was that the girls themselves told her that it was fine and that I had been there before them. Despite this, the receptionist still refused to deal with me and continued ignoring me. The situation then developed into a verbal argument, and I asked to see the CCTV footage because the camera could clearly show that I had been waiting there before the other guests. At some point, there was a woman sitting nearby who had mostly been looking at her phone. From time to time, the staff were speaking to her. I asked who she was, and I was basically told that she was nobody. Later, I noticed that she actually had access to the hostel’s CCTV system directly on her phone and was going through the hostel’s video recordings. At that point, I realized that she was apparently the manager, or possibly even the owner. I told her that I wanted to see the footage

The location was in a prime area, easy to get around. The staff here are exceptional and super friendly. Always able to help give sound advice on what to do in and around the city, also to resolve any issues. The hostel is comfortable and clean. It’s in the name, very chill. Had the best time here!
