Rooms boast private balconies with natural light, air conditioning, TV, minibar, and some with DVD players. Enjoy a daily breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, cakes, and croissants, and explore nearby beaches within 500 metres, including João Fernandes and Azeda Beaches.

The pousada works wonders for families, with staff always ready to help with any needs or local attractions and beaches. The beds are incredibly comfy and the shower is superb. A playroom lets the kids mingle with others, and breakfast offers a wide range of tasty options. It’s within walking distance of Ossos, Azeda, Azedinha, and João Fernandez/João Fernandinho beaches, plus plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. Bus stops at the corner take you to Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo, while vans head to Ferradura, Tartaruga, and Geribá—no car rental was necessary. The only downside was that breakfast refills sometimes lagged, and certain items like pão de queijo, pancakes, and scrambled eggs ran out on some days; heading to breakfast early at 8 am helps avoid the wait.

The location is great, close to João Fernández beach, and walking to the center is easy. Everything is super clean and comfortable, and the reception staff are geniuses. The only drawback is that breakfast has limited variety and can feel a bit sparse.

The spot is superb, just a short walk to João Fernandez beach and fairly close to Búzios centre, with Uber rides arriving quickly whether you’re heading to farther beaches or need transport in rain; breakfast was pleasant and the property clean, though one of the four staff members wasn’t friendly at all.
