“This hotel provides excellent service and amazing, priceless views!”

The views were priceless, just beautiful! The staff was amazing, and the food was very, very tasty! Isuru and Maduranga were especially forthcoming hosts and provided excellent service! The hotel is located a bit outside of Ella where there is currently a lot of road construction, so you need more time to get to places. However we were told the construction will be done within the next 2‑3 months.

The entire staff was exceptionally courteous, helpful, and incredibly friendly. A special thanks goes to Mr. Isuruwan, who welcomed us warmly and supported us at every turn. We were especially delighted by a lovely gesture: we even received fresh bananas from the house garden. That was truly a highlight – you don’t see such things every day. Thank you very much to the whole team for the heartfelt hospitality and great service. It was a truly beautiful and successful gesture that made our stay even more special! A small criticism was the cleanliness. The floor in the room was unfortunately not entirely clean. Since we were traveling with our still‑crawling baby, it stood out to us. There were hairs and dust on the floor. The balcony could also have been cleaned more thoroughly. Regarding insects, we understand that living in nature can’t be fully avoided. However, the spider webs on the ceilings and curtain rods could have been removed without trouble in our opinion. I’m sure they would have cleaned if we had just told them. But we were only there for one night. And the value for money is also not entirely given in our opinion.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless, the food was exceptional, and the breathtaking view from our room looked like a painting. A special thank you to Maduranga, who went above and beyond to help us and make our stay even more enjoyable. Nothing at all!!!

“Had to leave a day early due to a personal emergency and the staff was kind enough to refund 50% of my second night cost”

The room is well designed with a lovely view of the surrounding hills. If you’re someone who prefers to stay indoors, it’s fine but it does limit you. It’s 20–30 min from town. Your AR doesn’t fully go to the property, and although the property has a pick‑up and drop‑off from the main road, the 10‑minute ride with their pick‑up is not on very good roads.

“Schitterende ligging!”

The location is simply stunning: the view from the cabin, from the pool, or from the restaurant terrace is the main advantage of this hotel. Reception is very warm, the staff does everything to give you a fantastic experience. The cabin is spacious, cozy, and comfortably furnished. Excellent bed. Breakfast and dinner are also tasty and well prepared. Majentra is a 30‑minute drive from the lively center of Ella. Keep this in mind, especially because the last stretch of road is very “bumpy.” The road is being repaved, so this issue will be resolved in a few months.
