“As sweet as a magnolia bloom.”
This historic hotel took over a building of condos/townhomes from the 1940s or older (you can tell by the doorknobs) and linked them to the hotel with a breezeway; I stayed in one of those units, which had a galley kitchen, a family room, and a loft bedroom—think of 90s vintage residence inn rooms. I had no complaints; I’d just driven 12 hours and booked last minute, and the front desk guy was a delight. The spot is perfect for a quick walk to Old Market.
