The spot in Ipanema is spot‑on, the vibe is great, and the hostel staff are fantastic. The only downside was the extractor noise in my room, which kept me from sleeping well.

Very easy to check in to the property and start building community as soon as you arrive. Nothing else to add.

The hostel is super well‑located, the staff are very helpful and polite, the integration activities are great, and the food is wonderful. When I arrived, the room was dirty and extremely messy, and the air conditioner kept turning on and off all the time. I missed having a shared bathroom outside the room for guests to shower or use, and in a room with 8 people the bathroom line was endless.

O clima do hostel é realmente fantástico! Se está viajando sozinho o El Misti é a melhor opção. Fiz em 03 dias amigos de 13 estados diferentes e 03 paises. Todos os dias tem atividades em grupo e iniciar a noite no hostel é muito animado. A localização é maravilhosa e fica perto de tudo, mesmo tudo no RJ ser longe rsrsrs. A equipe do hostel tb é fantástica: cordial e atenciosa. Limpeza da cozinha deixa a desejar. Outro ponto que me questionei é que a cozinha abre para os hospedes muita tarde sendo que o proprio hostel oferece atividades que temos que sair bem cedo então a cozinha deveria estar aberta para a primeira refeição. Outro ponto que devem rever é que o quarto é bem apertado com muitas camas e alguns gaveteiros não abrem por completo o que impacta da experiência do hospede
