The rooms were tidy, the night was quiet and very restful, and the breakfast stood out for its quality even though it wasn’t fancy; the eggs from a local farmer were simply tasty. The room quickly developed high humidity, fortunately mitigated by a dehumidifier, and when something rolled under the bed I thought it might be good to vacuum there more often. Other than that, it was clean.

The property was very disappointing. There were no toilets in the hotel room; when I asked if we could pay for an upgrade I was told no because the hotel was fully booked. I left to find another hotel after a one‑night stay.
