The location was beautiful, we loved the sea views and the sound of the ocean so close by, the flat was tidy and cosy and had everything we needed for our stay, and there was nothing to fault.

The spot is great, with stunning views and a host who’s super friendly. I’ll definitely come back! The room felt snug and was beautifully arranged, and the deck offered a lovely ocean view, just a short walk from the fantastic Onrus beach.

We didn’t get the bed‑and‑breakfast option, and the house isn’t beachfront—there’s no beach to stroll on, which was a let‑down. Aside from that, the place was spotless and well equipped with crockery and cutlery. The ad should make it clearer that the property isn’t near a beach and that there’s no beach to walk or swim on.

I spent two wonderful days at Belle Vue Guesthouse in mid‑December. The studio with sea and garden views left us completely thrilled. Waking each morning to that gorgeous view and the ocean’s roar was the highlight of the trip. The guesthouse sits in a quiet Vermont neighbourhood surrounded by peace and finbosh, creating the perfect vibe for a secluded getaway. I especially enjoyed walks along the coastal trail, and the large terrace became my favourite sunset spot. The room was comfy and well‑equipped for self‑sufficiency, with a mini‑kitchen and terrace. The location was ideal—just a 15‑minute drive to Hermanus centre, making it easy to reach all sights while returning to a calm, quiet place. A few notes for future guests: there’s no pool on the premises, and the house follows a “for adults only” policy. I recommend Belle Vue Guesthouse to couples or travellers seeking a quiet, picturesque base for exploring Hermanus and the coast. The blend of seclusion, comfort, and beautiful views makes it truly special. Everything was great.
