The staff were very friendly and the room was simple but fully adequate; the train station is within a good walking distance. However, the price‑for‑value was disappointing – Bonn generally has high overnight rates, but this hostel was noticeably too expensive for its basic setup, making it the costliest stay on our seven‑hotel tour of Germany, even though its facilities were the worst.
