The location is fantastic – right in the middle of nature – but the restaurant looks like it’s been frozen in the past and really needs a makeover, along with a few other areas that feel stuck in time.

I enjoyed the historic objects on display, the family‑like atmosphere, and the close proximity to the outdoors, and lunch was truly excellent. The only let‑down was the breakfast, where a few items just weren’t up to par.
