“10/10”
We were warmly welcomed by Rosi, the farmer of a beautiful agricultural estate; her husband Thomas and son run over 20 hectares of farmland, dairy cows, some goats, chickens, and rabbits. The large house was modernly furnished with everything needed in the kitchen, a wonderful outdoor terrace, and a great place to relax and enjoy country life. We give Paulshof a full 10 and have no negative comments. Walter & Lutgart
The place was spotlessly clean, the hosts were delightful, and I’d definitely come back 👍
The farm is in a fantastic spot. The kids could run around freely and had plenty of space to play. The Cat Cars brought them great joy. The farming family is very, very nice and family‑friendly. The farm has various animals, and the children were allowed to feed them and help out in the stables. The setting is idyllic and quiet, though you do hear the cows and smell the barn, which is obvious when living on a farm. The nearest Edeka with a bakery was only about 5 minutes by car. The Chiemsee was also close. The beds were comfortable and the accommodation was top‑clean. There was dishware, a fridge with a freezer, a coffee machine for ground coffee, but no microwave. Milk and eggs could be bought directly on the farm. Laundry could be done for a small fee. We all liked it very much. The Wi‑Fi isn’t very strong, so if that matters to someone, it’s a downside, but it didn’t bother us. The net was also weak, yet it didn’t disturb us. Everything was great for us.
We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is close to Lauf, the Chiemsee and Seeon, it’s very quiet and run by a very nice family, and there is also a parking space. The place was a bit dark, but there are tables set outside, so it doesn’t bother on a good day.
“Ein perfekter Aufenthalt um zu Entspannen.”
The location and the hosts’ friendliness are superb; starting from Ischl you can easily reach anywhere—whether it’s the Chiemsee, the surrounding countryside, or for hiking and cycling. The beds are very comfortable and the view from the bed is spectacular (FeWo Bergblick). The internet—both mobile and Wi‑Fi—is poor, so if you need a reliable connection it’s a drawback; otherwise just relax!
