Berghof Hotel

A small, family‑run hotel that’s cheap because it’s a few meters away from the tourist spots. The room was newly renovated and furnished, and the breakfast was varied and good—definitely worth a return visit! Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay due to a lack of staff (no cook could be found). In the village there was only a Greek restaurant, which was not only popular but also offered tasty food at reasonable prices—go for it!

“Für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung”

Price and cleanliness were solid. Breakfast was kept very compact, with just the essentials available and well‑prepared. They also proactively asked if you preferred scrambled or fried eggs. The restaurant, however, is closed contrary to the homepage information, and the photos suggest a somewhat more modern accommodation.

“Nicht wieder”

The room was clean, but the restaurant was shut and the breakfast selection was no longer what it used to be.

“Abreise umgehend, total enttäuscht, dass so etwas angeboten wird.”

We left after only 10 minutes. The breakfast room had dust on all tables, the fabric curtain had oil stains, and the front desk staff were unfriendly at both check‑in and check‑out. The loud motorcycles on the nearby federal road promised us as little peace as a wedding party that might have to whisper and sneak through the hallway at night to avoid disturbing our sleep. We departed without staying overnight or eating breakfast, so please refund us promptly. The Covid notice on the booking confirmation is outdated, and the later note about the closed kitchen explains itself on site; the portal photos must be from better days.
