We arrived with a group of sixteen and the small hotel managed us surprisingly well – the rooms were clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and kept check‑in smooth, and the location was right in the centre of Berat, making it easy to walk to the sights. Breakfast was fresh and the vibe felt genuinely local.
The employee I dealt with was often unfriendly, which put a damper on the stay.

He kept turning off the air‑conditioning whenever I stepped out, even though it was 38 °C outside. Breakfast was supposed to be included, yet nothing was mentioned, and they charged €5 for an old‑fashioned iron.
