A comfortable room with balcony views and a decent location to explore Loch Lomond and the West Coast. I stayed here a few years ago and had a much better experience; it feels like it has outgrown its luxurious status, and the service I’d expect from a hotel of this type is lacking at both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast, in particular, was so busy that it seemed the system had failed. This detail separates high‑end hotels, and I felt the price didn’t match the service compared to similar hotels.
