The views were insanely good, the restaurant and buffet breakfast were sooooo good, and the staff were so helpful and hospitable.

The bed was very comfortable, and even the in‑house slippers were soft and comfortable to wear. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there are a few areas that could be improved: the wash basin only had cold water—hot water would be better; the TV was quite small and the channel selection very limited; the room would feel more comfortable with a sofa and a bedside table lamp; installing a ceiling or standing fan would improve air circulation; the room lacked proper ventilation, making it feel stuffy at times; it would be nice to have chairs outside so guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Kinabalu; we checked in quite late at 9:00 PM and requested a one‑hour late check‑out until 1:00 PM, hoping the receptionist could be a little more flexible and considerate, but we were informed that an additional RM30 charge was required. A more lenient approach in situations like this would greatly enhance the guest experience.
