The hotel sits opposite the wharves with great cafés, museums, and easy access to the Texel Ferry; the large room offers a fantastic canal view and curtains that effectively block light, and breakfast was among the best we had on our trip. Late check‑in was hassle‑free thanks to a code sent earlier. However, a few more coat hangers would be appreciated, and the bathroom’s sensor lights turn off after a few minutes, leaving the shower in the dark; no switches are visible, so someone else must turn them on.
