The front desk was very friendly and even gave us free coffee; the room was small but tidy. It’s close to the seaside and about a ten‑minute walk from the train station, offering good value. The only downside is that it’s not in the old town, so getting to the historic area is a bit farther.

The room was clean, with working air conditioning and a TV. The payment process could have been done directly online; instead, extra taxes appeared that varied.

The staff were always friendly. The photos on the site look much friendlier, larger, and brighter than the actual rooms; the square‑meter figure listed seemed higher than reality. We expected more space and a lighter, warmer atmosphere. After moving to a brighter room it was acceptable, but at night a deep hum around 50 Hz at about 70 dB from the air‑conditioning made it hard to sleep, forcing us to shift the bed for my son and me. The owner claimed he couldn’t hear it, but my screenshots of the measurements proved otherwise. When I asked to cancel the remaining five nights, the staff were polite but ultimately refused, even after repeated explanations. I had to pay for another place for the rest of the stay, where we eventually enjoyed a few days. The people were always friendly, and I understand the competition in such tourist hubs, but I think it would have been better to let us go for 250 € or 300 € without hassle and receive a positive review, rather than insist on that amount and leave dissatisfied guests. I waited to give the owner time, but now I’m giving a thumbs down.

The location was fine. The photos on Booking seemed unfaithful to me; I often felt a cigarette smell in the entrance hall. The room’s air‑conditioning was noisy, the pillow uncomfortable, and parking was scarce in high season.
