Everything was fine for someone who knew where they were going and what to expect. An extra plus was the host’s personality and the ability to book tasty, cheap meals.

The welcome was attentive, the atmosphere was warm and family‑like, the value for money unbeatable. Order‑up meals (3‑4$) were delicious. We highly recommend.

Fernando and his family were very accommodating. The on‑site guarded parking is great for those renting a tuk‑tuk or driving. The air‑conditioning and fan were useful, and eating on site was a good price compared to Nilaveli restaurants. Breakfast is good and the coffee deserves praise, and of course the proximity to the sea! At arrival it seemed our reservation wasn’t recognized. The room assigned to us didn’t match the photos from our Booking listing. The rooms lack closed windows, so it’s a bit noisy and some insects can get in.

I absolutely loved staying here. It felt more like a home than a hotel, with such a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s perfect if you want to experience the slow, simple local life in Nilaveli with beautiful beaches and a lagoon nearby, or if you’re a digital nomad looking for a quiet place away from the busy city life. The hosts were genuinely kind, helpful and very thoughtful. We were two girls travelling together, and they paid extra attention to our safety, which made us feel very comfortable. We arrived a few hours early, and they kindly let us check in early without any hesitation. We loved the warm family vibe, delicious local food and homemade coffee. I’d definitely recommend this place, even for solo female travellers. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back for a longer stay. Nothing really. We had a lovely and comfortable stay and enjoyed everything about the place
