The bed itself was clean, but the place feels ancient and the price rivals a nicer hotel; the front‑desk staff were preoccupied selling bus tickets to other customers unrelated to the hotel, which made me wait 15 minutes to check in; the mattresses were old, soft, and lumpy, the room was cramped, and I couldn’t wait to leave.

Being near family was a plus, but the noise was relentless—earplugs were a must, and on Monday I heard the TV blasting until after 3:00 am; at least the 50 % discount at St Hubert’s restaurant was a nice touch.
